Bababaaaam - doesn't it look deliciously dramatic?
This is my entry for April color contest ('Sanctuary/Reach For The Stars'), using one of the winning entries of last month's lineart contest.
Not much to say here, I didn't want to go overboard with the colorpalette and originally planned on keeping an empty background; but I think it looks more dramatic this way. Also, I haven't done cellshading in quite some time and I must say, comparing to practicing my realism skills, this was extremely easy and quick to do. The least I can say is I had fun with it

The rays in the background were made using one of 's Arcane Circle Brushes (that I think the entire population of dA is familiar with by now)

Also, I think watching FMA Brotherhood half of the time while working on this helped inspiring me
