I really need to write a journal.
I don't want the last one on my front page anymore.
So I'm gonna just write down some thoughts, seeing as how I really don't have a concept to go by or a real idea for my next rant.

Hi. How are things these days?
My very last regular day of school ever is ending and I don't really know whether to feel happy or sad. Most of all, I still haven't really fathomed it. I've spent the last 10 years of my life going to the same building every week-day of a good part of every year. Except for the occasional sick or lazy days, of course.
It's a weird feeling, really.
You look forward to it and when it's finally there, you don't really feel much different. Once again, the preceding excitement exceeds the actual feeling.

On the other hand, the next stage of my life will be university. So that's not all that different. I mean, it is. But in some ways, it isn't. And I guess working won't be all that different from uni.
But before I even start with all that, I really need to take some time off. That's what I'm really excited about. Traveling. I'll work my butt off for the next few months and then I'll finally get to do it. I've been waiting for this for years now. I wish I could see the whole world at once, actually. There are soooo many interesting places, cultures, languages, people (...) to discover. I really haven't planned a thing yet. But... man I wanna get started.

Also, I went to university for a week last week to take a look at japanology. It was tons of fun. Definitely will take that into consideration when deciding what I wanna study.
